Born and raised in Nottinghamshire where I obtained a BEd Honours in Art,  I moved to Scotland in 1980 to work in Education for children with additional suport needs.

​

Following early retirement on health grounds, I returned to painting, initially as part of my recuperation process, in 2001. 

​

I now live and work from my studio at home near Kelso in the beautiful Scottish Borders.  

 

2024 has been a busy year for me.  I was delighted once again to be part of the Borders Art Fair in March, having  exhibited there every year since it started and witnessed it grow from strength to strength with 2024 being the busiest yet.  I hope to continue my association with this event

I also had the opportunity to participate in ArTay in Perth (May), Art in the Pen  (August), the  Aberdeen Art Fair (September) and the first ever Autumn Bath Art Fair also in September.

My involvement with Tin Shed Art has also continued to grow this year with a return to the beautiful  Ayton Castle for my second Art in the Castle.  In November I will be exhibiting prints and paintings at  the first Art at Alnwick. 

​

My calendar for 2025 is still being finalised I will post details on Instagram as they are confirmed.
