Thank you for taking the time to visit my site.

I should be telling you now about the way I came to do what I do,

but I'm not really sure that matters.

My paintings reflect what I am and how I see and feel about the

world I live in.

For me, light and dark is a symbiotic relationship. You can't have

one without the other and both are interdependent and reliant on each other.

I see our world in terms of the light falling on everything I come into contact with, in all its various forms and shapes, and the emotions and feelings I associate with this.

Darkness is the absence of light, visually and emotionally.

As well as paintings which are visually exploring our world, I also produce works which are more of the mind, using various images and ideas.

I hope these encourage you to make your own sense of the paintings.

It may not be the same as I intended, but is no less valid.

I believe we all have our unique ways of seeing and responding to the world we live in.
